How To Get There

Ferry- There are no direct ferries from the port of Piraeus in Athens to Ithaca, but you can get there from Astakos, which is located on the western part of the Greek mainland in Aetoloacarnania, Kefalonia, and Lefkada.

Flight - There is no airport in Ithaca. The nearest airport is in Kefalonia, close to the city of Argostoli. From Kefalonia, you can easily get to Ithaca by ferry from the ports of Poro, Fiscardo, and Sami.
