Stavros

How To Get There
The main settlement in north Ithaca and the commercial center of the region is Stavros, which is 17 kilometers from Vathy. You can take a taxi or rent a car to get there. There is a bus running from Vathy twice a day to Stavros, Frikes and Kioni that leaves Vathy at 6.15am and 11am and leaves Kioni at 7.15am and 2.30pm. If you are in the area, try trekking a 9.8-kilometer loop trail close to Stavros. It takes an average of 3 hours and 2 minutes to finish and is generally regarded as a moderately difficult route.
