The annual June celebration in honor of the Holy Spirit sees the residents of Kastraki, along with the priest, make a challenging ascent to perform the divine service at the church situated atop the rock. Boasting of being the oldest church in the Meteora region and, possibly, in Greece, this 10th-century church offers breathtaking views of the surroundings.
