Omplos is a mountain of Achaia, southeast of the city of Patras, with an altitude of about 860 meters. It is part of a group of mountains that are an extension of the Panacha Mountains to its west and southwest and are separated from its main volume by the Glafkos River. Oplos is famous for its excellent view as well as a pole of attraction for paragliding flights. On the mountain is the famous Omblou  Monastery built in the late 12th century.
