With evidence of multistory construction and palatial features, it's believed to have been a grand house dating back to 2200-2000 BC. Bronze artifacts were discovered outside the house, and inside, rooms were found filled with vessels and figurines. These treasures are now displayed in the museums of Heraklion and Agios Nikolaos.
