Sifnos

Sifnos is one of the most authentic islands of Cyclades with whitewashed houses and chapels, innumerable dovecotes, a breathtaking natural landscape and, of course, amazing beaches. Sifnos is close to the islands Milos and Serifos. Sifnos is also well  known as a  gastronomic island with delicious food and traditional pottery. The beautiful little island is only 35 square miles and is home to less than 3,000 residents. This is truly a place to sit back, relax and enjoy  your holidays. Many churches to visit, all villages are unique, the capital is Apollonia. You will be amazed with the beautiful beaches of Sifnos at Chrisopigi, under the homonymous whitewashed church, at the cosmopolitan Platis Gialos, at sandy Vathi beach, following by a seafood meal, and at Kamares, where the island’s port lies.
Local products of the island include honey, xinomizithra cheese and spicy manoura.
The main regions of Sifnos are Apollonia, Kastro, Platis Gialos, Vathi.
