Aegiali

Amorgos, Greece is a stunning destination that should be on everyone's travel list. One of the most beautiful spots on the island is Aegiali, a charming village that sits on the northwest coast. How To Get There

On the northwest side of Amorgos is the port of Aegiali. It is 15 km from Hora and 25 km from Katapola. Although it has significantly fewer connections than the port of Katapola, it receives ferries from Piraeus and a few Aegean islands. From Aegiali, bus routes pass through Agios Pavlos, Hora, and Katapola. Only cash may be taken for tickets, which are bought inside the bus. Check the bus schedules here.  You can take a taxi to go where you're going, but there aren't many of them, so if you're going to the island during the high season, you might have to wait to get one. Renting a car is an additional choice that will enable you to visit various locations in Amorgos at your own speed.
