Astypalea
Astypalea stands between the Cyclades and the Dodecanese like cultural bridge. The island has the shape of the butterfly and that is why they call it the butterfly island. Even though Astypalea in Greece is in the group of the Dodecanese, it has a Cycladic architecture. Whitewash houses and blue windows, stone windmills and narrow alleys create a traditional atmosphere and character. It is a quiet island not crowded tourists with its secluded beaches.
