The Kodylenia Taverna enjoys one of the most outstanding waterfront locations in Kaminia. Its slightly raised setting, on the corner of Kaminia Harbour, offers a divine, constantly changing view. There's no better place to enjoy watching 'real life' as it truly is in Hydra with the comings and goings of the fleet of little wooden fishing boats and people arriving and departing on foot or by sea taxi.
At the Kodylenia we cook all of your favorite traditional Greek dishes, from freshly chopped Horiatiki and homemade Tzatziki and Fava served with crusty bread from the local baker to Kokonisto and slow-roasted lamb. In season we serve freshly caught fish, often straight off the boats that pull into the harbor below, as well as calamari and octopus.
