Folklore Museum in Patmos, Greece
This folklore museum is housed is housed in the mansion of Simantiri Family in Chora Patmos. It was constructed in 1625 by craftsmen from Izmir Turkey and it is still inhabited to this day. The rich collection in the museum of Patmos is very interesting and contains items from the 14th till the 19th century. Among them, visitors can see Russian style icons, wooden furniture, paintings, old photographs, family heirlooms mainly from Odessa and a foot-operated dental wheel. The museum may be small but it presents interesting items.
