Chania Museums - The Museum of National Resistance in Chania, Crete is situated in the charming village of Theriso and boasts a vast collection of photographic material from the period of the National Resistance from 1941-1945. Visitors can explore a range of artifacts, including weapons and personal objects belonging to the fighters, as well as authentic newspaper clippings from the era. As the only museum of its kind in Crete, it's a must-visit destination for those interested in this crucial period of history. The museum made its grand opening to the public in the summer of 2003.
