Dokos Island in Greece
Dokos is a small rocky island located close to the islands of Hydra and Spetses. Ideal for people who want to explore, love nature and camping there. In ancient times Dokos was a strategic location as it is separated from Peloponese from a narrow strait and close to Hydra. Dokos island in Greece was helpful during the Greek Revolution in 1821 for the Greek fleet. On the east side of Dokos you will find remains of a Byzantine and Venetian Castle. Today there are few residents who occupy in farming and fishing.
