Drakolaka Cave in Tinos, Greece
It is 4 km from the village of Platias and 1 km from Vathi bay in Tinos. Drakolaka cave took its name from the "dragon" which is a local name for the "cyanosis" disease. The locals brought the children affected by this illness and changed their black clothes to other light-colored ones. There they were asked for their treatment and the children stayed in the cave for three nights. Those that survived were considered to be healing due to the thermal properties of the cave.
