Skiathos Churches & Monasteries - Agios Charalambos Monastery in Skiathos, Greece is situated just 5 km north of Skiathos center. Its foundation year remains unknown, however, it underwent renovation in 1809. The monastery is adorned with an iconostasis and numerous icons, most of which date back to 1822. Interestingly, the writer Alexander Moraitis spent his final years residing within the walls of this historic site.
