Despite a lack of scientific evidence, monks claim it's the island's oldest monastery. While the site is now in ruins, you can still access it via a path starting at Gouverneto Monastery. During your visit, you'll see St. John's Church, the monks' cave shelter, and an impressive old bridge crossing the river canyon. Plus, there are plenty of storage and service areas located beneath the bridge's floor.
