Agios Stefanos Beach in Chania
The beach of Agios Stefanos is next to the area Seitan Port, 22 km northeast of Chania and 2 km east of the village Chordaki, on the east side of the Cape. The name of the region means Cursed Ports and comes from the fact that the waves generated in the area is dangerous. It has sand, gravel and blue clean waters. Agios Stefanos beach in Crete is a secret hidden area, but in recent years has become quite famous and attracts many visitors. It is a not well developed beach so you should think ahead of necessary. Experienced lovers of canyoning can explore the Diplochachalo canyon that leads to the beach.
