Glyfa Beach is located near the northern end of Steni Vala. This unique spot made of Glyfa Beach and the nearby village of Steni Vala offers natural green surroundings and a stunning view to the Aegean Sea. It is located 10 km north east of Patitiri. Fortunately, the place has not been spoiled by mass tourism, and is the ideal location for those who like seclusion and peace. Tourists enjoy watching the green fertile valleys, taking or hiring small boats to visit the islands nearby or sitting on the beach while watching the soft waves in the clean greenish blue waters. Usually, there is sunny weather in the area of Glyfa and travelers enjoy long beach days while having a drink or tasting traditional dishes. There are plenty of accommodations, taverns, shops, mini markets and a camp site in the wider region where the visitor can buy some food, drink,lay in the sun and swim in the peaceful clean waters. Some visitors also take the opportunity to take the water taxis and reach Agios Dimitros beach. It is easy to reach by taxi, via the regular bus service from Patitiri, just a 20 minute drive.
