Pylos Sights & Monuments - The Palace of Nestor in Pylos, Peloponnese is an authentic ancient structure that was uncovered in 1939 and has been extensively researched ever since. This palace complex was once home to the King of Pylos and was constructed in the 13th century BC by King Nestor, the son of Neleus, a highly regarded figure in Homeric epics. King Nestor, who was known for his wisdom and respected opinion, led Pylos to the Trojan War with a fleet of 90 ships. Currently, the site is being thoroughly examined by archaeologists to uncover more about its rich history.
