Ioannina Sights & Monuments - Periklis Melliritos was commissioned by Osman Pasha, the Turkish governor of Ioannina in 1905, to construct the Clock Tower in Ioannina, Epirus. Originally located 100 meters down the road, the tower was moved to its present location in 1925. Today, the Clock Tower in Ioannina is a popular tourist destination and a symbol of the city's rich history.
