Potos

The southern side of the island boasts Potos, a well-liked coastal village situated 40km away from Limenas and merely 2km from Limenaria. It once served as the port for Theologos, a mountainous village. Potos reigns supreme in Thassos as its most cosmopolitan area with an energetic nightlife that attracts numerous young visitors. In addition, extending ahead of the village is its own beach while those seeking other sandy stretches can explore Rosogremos and Psili Ammos nearby which offer breathtaking sunset vistas.

How To Get There

Potos lies in the southwest of Thassos, 42 kilometers from the capital and port of Limenas. It's easy to get there by bus, taxi-private transfer to your hotel, or rental car if you want to see some of the great sites along the way. The bus route lasts about one and a half hours, and there are 3-5 daily routes if you take it from Limenas to reach Potos. Bus schedules can be found here.
