Spili
Located at the foot of the Vorizis mountain and just 30 km south of Rethymnon, Spili village is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. With an altitude of 430 m and a population of less than a thousand residents, this charming village offers a serene escape from the bustling city life. Here, visitors can explore the beautiful fountain avenue lined with sycamore trees, and 25 fountains in the shape of lion's heads that offer a constant supply of cool drinking water. The lush vegetation of Spili owes its beauty to the full-flowing mountain rivers and streams that support its flora and fauna. Whether you're a nature enthusiast or simply seeking a peaceful retreat, Spili promises to deliver a memorable experience. So, pack your bags and get ready to explore Spili in Rethymnon.
