Agia Anna
Agia Anna in Naxos is a charming village located 6.3 kilometers south of Naxos town (also known as Chora or Hora) just beyond Agios Prokopios. This idyllic settlement is nestled along a stunning beach and has experienced significant growth in recent years. Although only a handful of locals reside there year-round, the area has developed to meet the high demand for tourist accommodations. The village is home to the picturesque Agia Anna church and boasts several lodging options. Visitors can enjoy traditional taverns, bars, and cafes along the coast. How To Get There
There are several ways to reach Agia Anna in Naxos. The town, port, and airport are all 6 km, 4 km, and 6 km away, respectively. For convenience, it is recommended to hire a car to reach Agia Anna and places of interest on the island or arrange a private transfer by taxi, minibus, or private VIP car without hassle. If you choose bus transportation, the central bus station of the island is located at the Port of Naxos. There are several buses from Naxos Town to Agia Anna during the day. If you arrive at the port, you should take the bus lines 1 and 10 to reach Agia Anna. There isn't a bus stop when you arrive at the airport, but once you leave the buildings, take the road to the left. The distance to the nearest bus stop, Naxos Camp, is 700 meters. From Naxos Camp, you take the bus route Plaka-Agia Anna-Chora (Town), which runs every 30 minutes to Naxos central station. Check routes & bus timetables here.
