How To Get There

Bus - Sparta is connected by KTEL buses to other cities including Athens as well as other Peloponnese towns like Kalamata, Gythio, Mystras, and Monemvasia. You must board the bus in Kifissos Bus Station in order to go to Sparta via KTEL bus from Athens. The journey takes roughly four hours.

Car - Traveling from Athens to Laconia by car is approximately 220 kilometers. You can take the National Road Athens-Tripoli (E65) and continue on the National Road Tripoli-Sparta (E961) to reach Sparta, the main city in Laconia. The journey takes around 2.5-3 hours, depending on traffic conditions.
