How To Get There

You may reach Agios Ioannis by taxi, car, or bus. The best way to Agios Ioannis is by bus and there are two routes. The first path passes past Portaria and up the mountain to Chania, where the skiing center is located. The borough of Mouresi will be your descent on the eastern side. (55 km.) The second one travels to Tsagarada. The villages of Milies, Xourihti, Tsagarada, and Mouresi are passed, and you arrive at the Kissos crossroads. There are a number of stops in mountain villages, so be sure to continue all the way to Agios Ioannis. Check for bus routes here.
