How To Get There

From anywhere on the island, there are numerous ways to reach Ano Mera. Ano Mera is 6.5 km from the airport, 9 km from the New Port, and 8.5 km from Mykonos Town. One way is renting a car to give you the chance to reach Ano Mera and discover other places of interest. Many visitors arrange a private transfer by taxi, minibus, or private VIP car, which is more convenient and takes about 10 minutes.
If you arrive at Mykonos Airport, there’s a bus station outside the airport’s main terminal building. Approximately every 1.5 hours, the bus route Airport-New Port transports passengers to the second stop, Fabrika Central Station. Take another bus from Fabrika to reach Ano Mera.
Arriving by ferry at the Newport, the bus station is situated a three-minute walk from the passenger disembarkation area. Take the bus, which runs roughly every hour, and get off after three stops. Visitors must then walk for fifteen minutes to the Fabrika bus station. To go to Ano Mera from Fabrika, you must take another bus. Check bus timetables here.
