Located in the island's northern region, Lefkada Town is roughly a 25-minute drive from Aktion National Airport. Initiate your exploration by having your rental car picked up from the town or airport. There is a bus route to Lefkada Town from the airport that runs a few times every day. KTEL's main bus station is located at the southern part of town Tzeveleki Street . Buses connect with villages on the east coast, while the roads are more suitable for buses instead of mountain narrow roads. Agios Nikitas, Nidri, Lygia, Nikiana, Vassiliki, Kathisma Beach, Vlicho, Karya, Kalamitsi, Egklouvi, Poros, and other villages are accessible by bus during the summer months.
