How To Get There
The Palekastro region is located on the furthest north-easterly tip of Crete, about two hours and thirty minutes' drive from the Heraklion airport. Rent a car or book a private transfer, which is the easiest way. With the most amazing views along the winding roads of Eastern Crete, the drive takes you through some breathtaking landscapes along the northern coast.
Bus travel is an additional, less expensive way to reach Palekastro. There is a regular KTEL bus service from Heraklion and Agios Nikolaos.
