How To Get There
Fodele can be reached in two ways. The main airport on the island, Heraklion International Airport, is accessible to visitors arriving by air. The first convenient option for the about 30-minute drive to Fodele is to rent a car, take a taxi from the airport, or book a private transfer.
The second option is by KTEL bus. The main bus terminal in Heraklion, which is near the city center, across the port, has buses that travel to Fodele. Depending on the route and any stops made along the way, the bus travel typically lasts between forty-five minutes and an hour. It costs about €4.
