How To Get There
Regular public buses go from and to Heraklion (6 km distant, approximately 40 minutes by bus) every 15 to 20 minutes (even on weekends). They depart at 06:40 and arrive late at 23:40. Buses also depart from and to Heraklion Airport.
Amoudara minimarkets sell bus tickets (one-way, such as Amoudara-Heraklion) for 1.7€, and the bus itself sells them for 2.5€.
The bus itself sells daily tickets (5€). Throughout the same day, the daily ticket can be used for many routes (e.g., Amoudara to Knossos, Knossos to Heraklion, and Heraklion to Amoudara).

You may also take a taxi or book a transfer from the airport to reach your destination in Amoudara Heraklion.
