How To Get There

Paleochora is located 75 kilometers south of Chania. Paleochora can be reached by bus, taxi, or your own rental car once you've reached the island. Rates for taxis, private transfers, and rental cars can differ, so it's best to look at a variety of possibilities. Buses from Chania to Paleochora run four times a day. It takes about two hours to get there by bus. You can take a bus from the Chania airport to the Ktel bus station in Chania, situated at the top of Halidon street from which you can take another bus to Paleochora.
