The Tavern is located in the intermediary space between the Cretan Aquarium Thalassokosmos and the International Exhibition Center of Crete. At the upper floor of the Tavern Krites in Gouves, Heraklion, there are beautiful verandas with unlimited views of the sea, and the exterior space is decorated with grass and a playground.
In this friendly environment the food that is offered are recipes from various regions of Crete. The [ofto] lamb and the piglet, which are both baked in a traditional oven, the tomato-baked goat, the lamb with stamnagkathi (Cretan vegetable), the askordoylakoi (bulbs), and the Cretan sausage (apaki) are certain of the dishes that are listed in the catalogue.
