Located in the centre of the peaceful Megalochori village on the island of Santorini, Villa Orpheus is a completely refurbished cave house that was built in 1929 and provides the ideal environment for luxurious vacations and romantic getaways for one or two couples. The back half of Villa Orpheus, a Cycladic-style villa, is carved out of the volcanic rock. Villa Orpheus's basic luxury is encapsulated in the wooden main entrance door that opens to a lovely courtyard including built-in couches and a heated outdoor covered plunge pool. Upon entering the home, one is greeted with a distinctive ambiance that combines historical imagery with modern comfort and luxury thanks to the marble floor, exquisite hues, and well chosen furnishings. The villa can accommodate up to 4 guests.

Megalochori, with its central plaza in its center, is a charming and amiable community. Here, classic eateries and cafés attract both locals and visitors who come to relax and enjoy excellent company. Spending an evening here is worthwhile, as you can enjoy the cozy ambiance and sample some of the excellent regional cuisine. Around the village, there are other typical stores, cafés, and bars. Escape Villa Orpheus to head down and explore Megalochori village. With the two greatest churches situated in the village center, Megalochori's most notable features are the steeples of these magnificent buildings. Some sections of the community include smaller chapels and churches. Across the road from the town, the church of Agios Nikolaos, for instance, is situated on a spectacular cliff overlooking the Caldera and offers breathtaking views of both the area and the captivating sunsets in Santorini.
