The Agia Triada Monastery is an impressive but one of the most difficult to reach monasteries of Meteora. It is believed that the monastery was founded by some monks seeking refugee from the invading Ottomans. It was heavily damaged in the Second World War. Visitors can reach the top of the monastery by climbing about 140 steep steps.
Today there is only one monk staying and is the only to guide the monastery. In the monastery you discover a church, a courtyard and few chambers. There are also frescoes well maintained.
