Ammoudara is a long beach situated 5 km south of Agios Nikolaos, on the road to Ierapetra. It is a beautiful bay and rarely affected by the strong summer winds. Ammoudara beach is amongst the most crowded beaches in Lassithi because it is well-organized with sunbeds, umbrellas, seaside accommodations and delicious taverns.
